Do you have a huge collection of photos and want to turn them into art?  This class will give you a  wide range of methods to create hand tinted photos that  convey emotion and drama.  You will learn and practice a range of alternatives for coloring  photos on photo paper as well as photo copies.  You will use traditional oils as well as new methods and techniques to create lovely, one-of-a-kind images.

Create a beautiful wearable bag to hold a small amulet or treasure.  We will felt the amulet bag with a quick, easy hands on method and make a woven cord for the necklace.  The finger woven cord or braid uses a Japanese technique called kumihimo.  Embellish and personalize your bag with needle felting, beads, buttons and charms.

Bring light and shimmer into your work with this new twist on gold leaf and gilding.  Learn how to create a luscious, textured golden, copper or platinum glow to paper and canvas.   Use cupric metal, abrasives and patinating liquid to create a glowing background  that can be subtle.  . .
